Fitness is an important part of life. It helps you stay healthy and keep your body in good shape. It can also make you feel better mentally and emotionally. Here are several ways you can get and stay motivated in your fitness routine: Set a goal.

  • Decide exactly what you want to accomplish with your fitness goals (i.e. lose weight, improve strength, tone up, etc.)
  • Create a plan that you can follow to reach your goal
  • Reward yourself when you reach your goal and celebrate your success
  • Don’t be afraid to push yourself out of your comfort zone. It can be tough at first, but you will get stronger and faster over time!

Find a workout that you love. If you enjoy the exercise you’re doing, you’re more likely to stick with it. Try a variety of types of workouts until you find one that you enjoy. Variety is key when it comes to staying motivated with your workout regimen! Keep a Journal. Writing down your feelings and experiences can be a great way to get in the habit of staying fit and healthy. Find your workout partner to stay motivated and keep it going. This way, you do not skip workouts and stay on track.

Avoid sitting for long periods at a time, such as sitting at a desk at work all day or in a car while commuting to and from work. Take a few minutes every hour to get up and walk around or take a quick break to do some quick exercises (e.g. squats, push-ups, jumping jacks, lunges, etc.) Make a healthy meal at home instead of eating out all the time.

This will help you stay on your fitness plan and save money too! Keep track of your progress by taking pictures of yourself every month or two to see how much you’ve improved. Have fun with it and remember it’s for your health!
