Every one of you may have a nostalgic memory of childhood. When you walk down memory lane, you can still see a small kid sits on the chair in front of the TV with his curious eyes wide open, waiting to join his favourite animated friends. Far beyond the television screen, they ruled our childhood and metamorphosed into our guide, sometimes our imaginary friend, or the ones who shaped our days through lessons of trust, friendship, laughter, and entertainment. Their cute little stories took us to a happy land where we found our little pleasures and realised the value of innocent love and care.  How many of you still miss those cartoon characters you admired as a kid? Now, let’s turn the time wheel back to our childhoods and revisit them! Mickey Mouse: A Legendary Bond Mickey Mouse—who can forget the kind, innocent mouse with a smiling face? On November 18, 1928, Walt Disney and UB Iwerks released Steamboat Wille, an American animated short film that officially introduced Disney’s mischievous mascot. This talking, animated little mouse soon won the hearts of children and adults with his uproarious antics.  From big screens to small TV rooms, Mickey and his friends Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto took us to another world where they embarked on electrifying adventures, fun, and enjoyment. They created a sense of happiness and hope in the audience. Even after all these years have passed and so many new animated characters have been introduced, the charming companionship and adorable antics of this little mouse and its pals remain in everyone’s hearts.   Tom and Jerry—the mischievous duo Tom and Jerry –  the most determined cat and the naughtiest mouse. We still remember the scenes where Tom is chasing the little mouse tirelessly. The cat is exhausted and irritated to the core. Any time, you can expect a moment of laughter and a series of hilarious humour.  The iconic cat-and-mouse duo Tom and Jerry first hit the screen in 1940. The animated series was created and introduced by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. Later in the history of entertainment, Tom the cat and Jerry the mouse created a series of endless fun-filled pranks, restless chases, and comedies that were enough to rule the hearts of a worldwide audience.  The rivalry between the cunning cat Tom and the ingenious mouse Jerry takes twists and turns through their inborn mischief and crashes. Each action this cat and mouse duo presented on the screen left everyone with enthusiasm and booming laughter.  Humour is the Tom and Jerry series’ core element, which makes it a universal entertainment. The story remained true to its roots even as the characters evolved into more modern styles. This cat-and-mouse duo won seven Academy Awards in the animated short film category and continues to delight audiences of all ages. Winnie the Pooh: The tale of gentleness  “How do you spell love, Pooh? You don’t spell love, Piglet,  You feel it!” Welcome to Hundred Acre Wood, the charming abode of a bear, Winnie the Pooh and his enthusiastic pals. Here, spread the gentleness of love and stories of real bonding.  The soothing tales of Winnie the Pooh were first published as children’s stories. The author, A.A. Milne, gifted a stuffed toy to his son Christopher, which inspired this character. The tale revolves around the eventful journey of a honey-loving bear, Winnie the Pooh, and his friends, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger, Rabbit, Kanga, Roo, and the Owl. Pooh’s words of little wisdom and the owl’s thought-provoking musings became famous quotes and attracted many.  The Walt Disney Company acquired the Pooh story rights in 1961; thus, the bear and his friends appeared on the big screen. The Pooh and his irresistible love for honey, Piglet’s bravery, and many other traits that appear in the stories through the characters teach us lessons about the value of friendship, simplicity, empathy, and finding joy in simple pleasures.  Through the little tales, these old animated companions still create a symphony of nostalgia, love, and friendship that transcends generations.
