Materials needed
Thick sheets of light-coloured chart paper
Pom Pom balls of different colours
Decorative stickers of different shapes
Punching machine
Woollen thread
Glue
Scissors
The materials are ready now. It’s time to create the hat!
You need to cut the chart paper in a triangular shape. Measure the size of the head and cut the paper accordingly. Now roll it into a conical shape, fix the edges with glue, and secure the shape. Remove any excess paper by cutting it.
Now we can decorate the hat. Use the pom pom balls to cover the bottom edge part of the hat. Attach the multicoloured balls to the bottom edge in a border shape. Then embellish the topmost tip with an oversized pom pom ball. Use bright glitter stickers to decorate the curved surface of the paper hat. Write a ‘Happy New Year’ message on it with colourful pencils or sketches.
