FIRST IN-TRAIN SMART MAGAZINE “YOUR PLATFORM”

“Your Platform” is the first ever in-train smart magazine launched by E-Tolls Ads Media and Earth & Air in collaboration with Southern Railways on September 30th 2022. The event was launched by Shri B.G Mallya, General Manager, Southern Railway, in the presence of Shri Ganesh, Divisional Railway Manager, Chennai Division, at Chennai Central Station.

The magazine covers topics like travel, fashion, and leisure. The agenda is to provide commuters the opportunity to read something new every time they travel and to engage them by providing them with interesting facts, technological updates, and much more engaging content to make their journey more productive. The journal’s main topic is India, and it looks for new and interesting information to help readers on their journey.

This is a smart monthly magazine that bridges the divide between print and digital media. Every page will include a QR code so that commuters may follow the content and communicate online. The emphasis is on southern railways throughout the text. All commuters and digital readers need to understand the legacy of Southern Railways, which has been a backbone of India since its inception, as well as its engineering marvel that unites India with railroads. Every month, there will be four pages of text about railroads, as well as a digital space to talk about their successes, new developments, etc.

From October 1st, 2022, passengers on the Tejas Express from Chennai to Madurai, the Shatabdi Express from Chennai to Coimbatore, the Shatabdi Express from Chennai to Mysore, and the Double Decker Express from Chennai to Bangalore will be able to access the magazine.

The founding team, viz., V. Praveen Kumar, Shankar M Shiv, and Karthik P S, have more than two decades of media experience and exposure.

“When we collaborated with Southern Railways to create the first In-Train Magazine, we wanted the following three things to be implemented: To begin with, a commuter should enjoy reading our content, and it should be neutral. Second, there should be a two-way synergy to bring readers and advertisers together on a single platform, and finally, it needs to be a smart magazine that can provide on and off-screen experiences,” tells us Mr. Karthik Shiv, Co-founder of Earth & Air.

The mission of this magazine is to create a community where experience, knowledge, and awareness of many things can be exchanged. Also, a space for advertisers to promote themselves through Your Platform, where they get to access a huge number of audiences who are available to them for the next few hours of their journey. This is only the beginning of a new way for commuters to connect and brands to advertise on the same platform.

“The whole team is working on ground-breaking content that is all positive and stays away from current affairs, controversy, politics, and cliches. We created unique content to engage commuters and entice them to follow us on both platforms because reading is no longer a habit. We’re excited to work with Southern Railways because there’s no other way to reach such a large number of readers so far in advance that we can just get them interested from the start,” adds Mr. Praveen Kumar, founder of E-Tolls Ads Media.
