YLB, Bolivia’s significant state enterprise for lithium resources, has entered a key pact with Altmin Private Limited, a firm based in Hyderabad that produces materials for batteries. This pact focuses on progressing collaboration in lithium and C-LFP tech. Key points of the agreement:
- It involves cooperation on establishing a raw material supply chain and producing cathode active materials for lithium-ion batteries.
- It is in line with mutual efforts by both parties to industrially utilise this critical mineral.
- This marks the first time Bolivia is engaging in a partnership like this to forward local Li-Ion battery production, expected to benefit the wider supply chain.
- The partnership will support the worldwide shift towards alternative energy and fulfil lithium needs for Altmin’s operations in India.
- It includes an exchange of know-how in scientific technology for making battery materials and creating a Pilot Plant in La Palca, Potosí, employing Altmin’s proprietary CLFP technology.
- YLB will supply lithium carbonate for the project.
- The objective is to improve research, development, and pilot testing for lithium and develop a bilateral raw material supply chain.
The partnership presents a significant step in technological exchange and industrial strategy between Bolivia and India, leveraging lithium resources for advancing energy solutions.

GROHE Intellekt, which belongs to GROHE India, known for its expertise in bathroom solutions and kitchen fittings globally, recently conducted a ShopTalk event titled “Building With Tech.” This event was a joint effort with an organisation named Ladies Who Lead (LWL). The aim was to provide a forum for women professionals to gain inspiration and knowledge.
The talk took place at The LIXIL Studio located in Bengaluru and it happened on Friday, the 27th of October. The session included dynamic discussions with specialists from the industry such as Isha Sapra of Ausper, Manije Kelkar from Goalkeep, and Sneha Mishra, the mind behind Social3.
Designed to be interactive, the ShopTalk featured Q&A segments and opportunities for the attendees to become involved in the dialogue. It was attended by over 40 members from LWL and the Architecture Community, who were specifically invited by GROHE. The attendees focused on how business and technology intersect, looking at ways to leverage technology to boost business growth. They were also inspired by the success stories from Ausper, Goalkeep, and Social3.
GROHE’s strategy includes forming strategic partnerships and leading with innovative ideas to enhance opportunities for women working within the architecture field.

Here, customers have the chance to play around with various mix-and-match options, experiment with textures, and try out different styles to put together their own special story in high-end bathroom design. In tune with LIXIL’s company goal to bring better homes to life for people all over, this centre is all about making things easier for the architecture and design community, along with partners and the folks who ultimately buy and use the products.
The LIXIL Experience Center is perfectly positioned to appeal to Delhi NCR’s vibrant lifestyles and design tastes. The brand’s move into the capital city highlights its dedication to expanding its footprint in major city business hubs across the country. This launch in Delhi follows the brand’s successful openings in Bangalore and Mumbai, making it the third LIXIL experience centre to debut over the last two years. This further shows LIXIL’s strong commitment to serving the Indian market.
The centre is open for visitors six days a week, from Tuesday to Sunday, 10 in the morning until 7 in the evening, and it’s closed on Mondays.
