MANALI, HIMACHAL PRADESH

Popular among travellers, this beautiful hill station is located at the northern end of the Kullu valley in the state of Himachal Pradesh. This gorgeous town is blessed with breathtaking views consisting of snow-capped mountains, lush green forests, beautiful valleys and soothing streams and rivers. The temperature in this region during summer ranges between 10 degrees to 30 degrees making it absolutely pleasant during summers.
It has some of the best hotels and cafes in and around popular tourist attractions such as Old Manali, Solang Valley and the gorgeous Jogini Waterfall. Ideal for families and honeymooners, Manali has everything that a tourist could desire. Spend a lazy evening walking through the busy markets or simply hop into a cafe or restaurant to taste some local and international flavours.

Best time to visit: October – June

Things to do in Manali: trekking, hiking, paragliding, river rafting, hot air ballooning, skiing, skating, paragliding, zorbing, cable car rides and much more waters, and step onto a green island to soak up the ethereal whites.

WAYANAD, KERALA

This lush green oasis called Wayanad is nestled in the beautiful mountains of the Western Ghats. Wayanad gets its name from the Malayalam words ‘vayal nādŭ’ which literally means “the land of paddy fields”. And this truly is a great destination for nature lovers. The region offers breathtaking views of the gorgeous valleys, lush green coffee and tea plantations, and the gorgeous wildlife sanctuary.

Summers in Wayanad are pleasant. The days are blessed with pleasant sunshine and the evenings are cool and comfortable. Step out in the sun to plan a trip to a
few popular tourist attractions. You can go out trekking, pay a visit to a coffee or tea plantation, visit the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary or simply plan a day camping near a gorgeous lake.

MUNNAR, KERALA

IN THE SUMMER TIME

Popularly known as the Kashmir of South India, Munnar is located approximately 5,200 feet above sea level.
This gorgeous town and hill station is the perfect cool green paradise during summer. The temperatures in Munnar during the summer season range between 7 degrees to 25 degrees making it extremely pleasant and comfortable.

Wake up early in the morning and head out for a walk at any one of the many tea gardens around any lush green scenic hills near your hotel. As the day progresses you could also plan to trip to visit a few breathtaking waterfalls. The sounds of the flowing water can have a soothing effect on your body, mind and soul. If you want
to spend a lazy day camping with your family, head out to Sita Devi Lake. Here you can camp with your family and enjoy fishing for some trout in the lake.
