The Indian summers are very hot and humid, especially for the kids who just can’t get enough playing in the soaring sun. This super easy and simple Malai Kulfi recipe will make your kids jump in joy and love the summers even more! This entire recipe takes under 2 hours to serve, and is filled with the goodness of milk and dry fruits.
Ingredients:
● 2 cups whole milk
● ½ cup condensed milk
● ¼ cup dry milk powder
● 2 teaspoons white sugar, or to taste (Optional)
● ½ teaspoon ground cardamom
● 1 pinch saffron threads
● ¼ cup chopped pistachio nuts
How to make?
● Mix the Whole milk, condensed milk and milk powder together in a heavy bottom pan and stir until it boils thick.
● Add saffron, and sugar if needed and keep stirring occasionally for the next 10 mins until the mixture thickens and the flavours of saffron seeps into the mixture.
● Once the mixture thickens well, turn off the heat and add the chopped pistachios and mix well.
● Transfer into kulfi moulds or even a cup of your preference and freeze until solid for at least an hour and enjoy your own homemade yummy kulfis!
