Ever since Cheese was invented, it has had its variations and versatile uses in our daily meal. For all those health ambassadors out there, this recipe is dedicated to you. Make your own cream cheese, which goes really well with any type of bread and rolls and make your daily breakfast interesting!
● 1 lit whole milk
● 100g fresh cream
● 1½ tbsp vinegar
● Add the milk to a thick bottom pan and bring it to boil on medium heat and stir occasionally.
● Once boiled well, turn off the heat and add vinegar to the milk and let it rest for 7-8 minutes for the milk to curdle.
● Strain the curdled milk, aka cheese with a clean cheesecloth and rinse it well to get rid of the vinegary smell and let it sit there for about an hour to remove any excess water.
● Blend the cheese with fresh cream until smooth and store in an air-tight container and chill overnight to set.
● Once set, enjoy your very own, homemade cream cheese with your bread of choice!
