As a new mother, you are probably already busy balancing work and parenting. Add travel to that mix and things can quickly get out of hand. Here are a few essentials to keep you organized while traveling:
- Pack your diaper bag for your baby’s basic needs as well as for yourself
- Make a packing list for your trip ahead of time so you don’t forget anything important
- If you are flying, check with your airline about changing diapers on the flight or renting a bassinet if you need one
- If you will be traveling by land, check with the car rental company to see if you will need a car seat for your child
- Keep everything you own with you – you don’t want to lose something precious like your 6 month old baby’s favorite teddy bear!
