How to make Handi Matar Panner recipe?

This vegetarian Matar Paneer dish is tasty, satisfying, and rich with lots of Indian spices. It is simple to prepare and ideal when you want to experience restaurant-style food at home. Paneer peas curry that the whole family will love. Serve it with Butter Naan, roti, any flavour of rice, steaming basmati rice, or any flatbreads of your choosing.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams of panner
  • 70 grams of green peas
  • 2 pcs of cardamom
  • 2 pcs of clove
  • ½ inch cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste
  • 1 cup of finely chopped onions
  • 1 cup of tomato puree
  • 1 tsp of chilli powder
  • ¾ tsp of coriander powder
  • ½ tsp of garam masala
  • 10 cashews
  • 10 peanuts
  • 1 green chili
  • Salt
  • • Oil

Method

  • Heat oil in a Handi, add cloves, cardamom, jeera and cinnamon.
  • Add the chopped onions and let it turn golden brown.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and tomato puree.
  • Add the chili powder, coriander powder and garam masala and cover it.
  • Let it cook for 7 to 8 minutes.
  • Grind cashew, green chilli and peanut together and add with some water.
  • Add panner and mater and let it cook for another 6 minutes.
  • Garnish with coriander and serve with ghee rice or roti.
